This year I am making two changes. I am moving from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. I taught 3rd for 5 years then moved to kinder for 3 and now I am back! Second I am changing schools. I am going from a very small charter school of 159 back to a big public school that has that many 3rd graders. I am excited for the change. I look at change as a challenge not a bad thing. I think God has placed me where I am needed and this is where I need to be. The change has affected my son too. Unfortunately he will have to change from our little charter school to his neighborhood school. He is excited though and is ready to meet kids in our neighborhood. He did cry the other day and was worried he will not see his friends.
Well, enough of that. My purpose of this blog is to change my ways. Yes I need to be a lot more organized and I need to prepare. I thought if I shared ideas and had others share with me maybe we could help each other. I am going to try my hardest to blog weekly and post many pictures of my move and process of creating a wonderful 3rd grade classroom.
